3. Heart Attacks
Higher blood pressure affects the arteries of the heart. The very first symptom is often angina – sharp pain while being active. Continued lack of blood and therefore oxygen to the heart harm the heart muscle.
Too much salt eventually causes arteries to rupture or get blocked. The heart muscle no longer getting blood dies and you encounter a heart attack.
