Salad vegetables may appear to be the ideal healthful late-night snack in almost every other way – until you consider their high water content and the fact that liquid, even if you’re not drinking it, will likely wake you up in the middle of the night to use the restroom.

You don’t have to give up salad completely; if you eat it 90 minutes before bedtime to allow your body to absorb the water, you should be able to sleep well.
